I would recommend this book to math teachers! I learned a lot from it. There are many useful strategies in the book that I would be excited to try with my second grade students. I have not ever taught secondary math, so I don't know how useful this book is for middle/high school teachers. I do believe it would be beneficial to elementary teachers.
Math Workshop makes implementing a more workshop approach to math easier to do. There are plenty of practical ideas to help establish routines and expectations that my teachers really appreciate and the video clips provide helpful classroom experiences on what a successful math workshop looks like and sounds like. I highly recommend this book!
